COVID-19 VSO Call to Action: Reach Out to Check In
VSO partners, please take a moment to watch this video call to action. I am asking you to please take the time to call a few of your Veteran friends to check in on their mental health and wellbeing.
While many of us are uncomfortable with large groups or avoid crowds after our service, social distancing is still hard. If you're thinking about a Veteran you know, pick up the phone and call them.
I can't overemphasize how important this is. Making even a small connection can improve their mood or save a life. When you call them, let them know you're thinking about them. Invite them to call you any time they want to connect.
